Should I Buy This Dress?
As many of my friends and family know, there is nothing that makes me smile more than preppy and girly clothes. Just the sight of a plaid ruffle or a crisp bow is enough to make my heart melt.
So it’s no surprise that when I saw this adorable dress at Urban Outfitters the other day, I could not help but admire it. With its ruffle neck, patriotic colors, high waist and military button details, it is exactly what I need to brighten up the often gloomy and overcast London skies.
With the prospect of spring weather just around the corner, the dress is practical for the current weather to be paired with a cardigan and tights and versatile enough to be worn alone as the temperature heats up.
The dress also leaves numerous options for shoes. It can be dressed up with heels or paired down with a pair of flats or sandals.
The only thing stopping me from swooping up this little gem? The $88 price tag. As a student studying abroad, my wallet is sometimes as thin as a piece of paper. However, my fashion conscious personality also tells me it would be a good investment piece with its classic style.
What do you think? Would you buy this dress?

I wouldn't. It isn't my style, but it might be yours.
though its def not my style, if you like it, thats all that matters. however, do you really need another dress? if you already like 10, then maybe not. but if you only brought 1 or 2, then it might come in handy. but you also have to think about all your other expenses. do you have to pay any bills or tabs? are you planning on taking a trip soon? do you go out alot? if you do spend when you dont have to, you could sacrafice a few outing, or splurges (like eating out or clubbing) to compensate for this price tag. weigh out your options and see if its convienient.
please don't buy this. i bet you won't like it after you wear it once or twice.
i love it!!
but its not worth 88 unless youre going somewhere special with it
but besides that...i absolutely love it. i would buy it if it was cheaper
it seems costumey, but i see what you're saying, and since you're in london i think you can pull it off. try it on first. some pieces of clothing are better to just look at.
I don't see you wearing it more than a couple of times.. and for that price... I wouldn't suggest you get it ;)
Its cute though.. but is it worth it?
I wouldn't wear it
how much do you like it? enough to buy it without trying it on? it's cute, but i'd have to try it on first.
I'm cheap, I'd never pay $89 for a dress!
I love this dress! I can't buy it in my country but I LOVE it.
If you love it, buy it. it's very original and I love mini dresses. It's not too sexy (no cleavage)
:)
i like the skirt part of the dress but otherwise it looks mediocre. i don't think the model is even able to pull that dress off. i don't think it's worth $88. try and copy the look for cheaper, and get it in two pieces (red high-waisted skirt and a white ruffly shirt?) and not one so you can have more use. :)
i love this dress<3
so,i suggest you to buy....
No. Sure you can find a better dress for a better price.
its cute but 88 wayy too much for a dress
think of how often you're going to wear it
89 ... how much is it in euros?
I like it, but like many other people have said, it's not worth $88, especially if you don't have the right body shape to pull it off.
Buy it!
You wont regret it :)
i wouldnt buy it. looks like a sailors girlfriend.
urban outfitters usually has alot of their things go on sale I say wait a while and if you still feel the same about it in a month or so buy it.
i dont like it. reminds me of a sailor.
ewww
if you're ordering online, try retailmenot.com for discount codes. That might make it worthwhile, because I think it's pretty cute.
Don't buy it. I wouldn't look at it even if it were on the sale rack, to be honest.
That dress is adorable. Get it. I would. :)
