  • What Do You Carry in Your Bag?

    Guest blog submitted by its_me_katie

I recently saw someone's post about everything they carried with them in their bag. Now it's my turn!

Backpack. This new (and adorable) backpack is a Christmas present from my mom. It's Kipling and one of the cutest things ever. It's kind of on the small side, so most of the time I have to hold my binder. Nobody has complimented me on it yet, but I don't care because I really like it. Thanks, Mom!

Binder. It's getting big! You can barely see it, but on it is a sticker from my aunt in Taiwan and a Kawaii-Not bookmark. Oh, and a paper with all my volunteer hours.

Planner. They sell these for five dollars at my school. I honestly don't really have that many assignments that need remembering, so it's mostly for doodles.

Chapstick. I don't know if you can see from here or not, but my chapstick's tube reads "A Plus Federal Credit Union." You're probably like, what?! Isn't that a bank? Where would you get a chapstick from your bank? I had the exact same thoughts but I don't really care anymore because I've used it so long. It's Pina Colada (Apparently, that's what my bank tastes like) and it does wonders for my lips.

Keys. My house key. Hopefully a car key will be here in less than a year!

Hand Sanitizer. This is coconut lime and it's from Bath and Body Works.

Pens. Mostly nice, extremely inky pens. I don't like normal ballpoint stuff, nor do I like pencils.

Bible. It gets me through my day. There are about a billion post-its stuck in there. It's a good thing to whip out when I'm in dire need of advice and comfort.

Cellphone. Necessity, of course. Used for texting my friends during class. And texting my mom whenever I leave my lunch money at home. Unfortunately I forget this almost every other day.

Wallet. This is my old wallet.

iPod. I'm not one of those lame teenagers who walk around listening to their i-Pods, eat dinner while listening, etc. I only listen to it during newspaper and that's not too often either. I don't even listen to it in the car. Oh, please note my adorable Hello Kitty case; it's from Hong Kong. I got it for less an $1 USD. <

Sketchbook/notebook. for more drawings and notes.

Textbooks. Kind of a no-brainer. I hate carrying these around, though.

Comics. Also a no brainer. By the way, I just finished Watchmen, Flash and Spiderman.

Art tube (in corner). Art (that can be rolled up) carried from school to home, etc.

So, what do you carry in your bag?
