QOTD: Liquid or Pencil Eyeliner?
Question of the Day:

I always feel like pencil eyeliner comes out too smudgy. My preference is for liquid. Which do you prefer?

I use both. First I line the outside corner with pencil & smudge it on purpose, then I put a thin liquid line around my whole eye.

I like the liquid. The pencil tends to scratch my skin. Although, I do like the pencil that you don't have to sharpen, you just twist it, it is softer and easier to apply.

Neither. CREAM EYE LINER! I especially like H.I.P.s' black cream eye liner. It comes with an easy-to-handle angle brush, too.

My hands aren't steady enough for liquid and I like smudging pencil eyeliner on my top lids. More subtle.

I can rarely get the liquid to go on accurately, so I prefer the pencil.

Liquid for the top and the pencil for the bottom. I've been wearing eyeliner since I was a child (mainly because of dance) so I've gotten pretty good at steady applications. I just can't do it on others, whoops.

Depends if I'm in a hurry or not =) I love both, but I use pencil on most days when I'm rushed to get to work, and liquid if I have the time to draw and fix with qtips (I have difficult asian eyes to line).

Ugh, some of those pencils are like trying to use hard coloring pencils on your eyes. I have bought so many, only to take them home and barely beable to make a smudge on paper!

If I have to use pencil for the "smudge" look, I buy the liner that rolls up. Mostly, I use liquid. It's easier.

I feel like I've already answered this question a dozen times before, haha.
I prefer pencil because I don't have the steadiest hands in the world. I use the creamy type pencils.
