Beauty Hurts When You're Wearing 8-Inch Heels!

How far are you willing to go?
Are you kidding me? A 20 cm heel with a 10 cm platform? Honestly, the shoe isn't even nice...
Now let's move on to the the spring 2009 PRADA collection: These 8-inched babies are literally killer heels.
These shoes are murderous.
Are you willing to sacrifice comfort for style? What is the maximum heel height you would wear?

I don't wear heels all the time. Just thrice a year, I think. I'd like to walk around without worrying that I might fall over and break my bones.
I wonder how long can people walk around in 8-inch heels.
Zero. Or one. Dress shoe standards...then again--I'm just not into that heel thing.
By the way..are feet supposed to be able to stay in that position for so long? (I've never tried.)
i think you could really sprain your angle wearing those things..not worth it at all. most women don't even look graceful trying to walk in those things anyway.
The shoes in the pics? Hell no. Never. Lol.
I used to wear high heels a lot, but now I only wear boots, Chucks, or dressy flats. No point in being miserable to look good, when I could be comfortable - and still look good.
no way, i'm comfort over anything else! 3 inch is the max i'd go. and even that i have difficulty walking!
2 or 3 inches for work and casual outtings.
3 or 4 inches for formal outtings, depending on how much i have to walk.

Absolutely not. I put safety first, and these shoes are ridiculous and definitely a safety hazard. I think my max height is 3-4in. Depends on the thickness of the heel too. Wearing heels all the time makes for very ugly feet; it's crazy how some of the other womens' feet look when I get pedicures because of heels!
The first picture, no because theyre ugly. The others,...Absolutely! People think Im crazy, but I can wear stilletos all day and night, and have no problems. I LOVE them! I have a whole (big) closet for them =)

I would never sacrifice that much comfort to fit in with a trend. Besides I am tall enough, I never reall got into the meaning of heels..
Yes please! But not in a heel. I dont like heels like that. I like boots that are really high, and chunky. But definitely NOT for wandering around town. Those are reserved for concerts/sitting on my ass/having sex in

I can't walk in heels at all, lol. I don't wear them.
The problem is high heeled shoes are not really made for walking. They are ok to stand around in, and some are even ok for dancing, but will tire you out even doing something simple like walking down a flight of stairs.
I used to buy lots of shoes I thought were beautiful, but ended up never wearing most of the ones with a decent heel because they were too uncomfortable for various reasons. Nowadays I only buy high heels specifically for tango.
Tango-style shoes are actually fairly comfortable, the most comfortable kind of high heel shoes to wear. I realize now that I wasn't careful before to select shoes which would be secure and comfortable. It helps when the shoe gives enough room for your toes (peep toe shoes can be more comfortable than closed toe or strappy sandals) and when the shoe is secured by an ankle strap.
But of course, if you have the kind of lifestyle where you use the car to get everywhere and don't have to walk any distances outside, you can pretty much wear any impractical shoes and get away with it.

Those are ridiculously cute, but I couldn't handle the 8 inch height. I have gone up to 4-5 inches. Those were okay after a while, but yeah, that's my max.
if i'm getting a pair of heels, they have to be 4". no more, no less.Â
but if i'm starting to hurt, i have no problem getting my boots out of the car and shoving them on.
Who in their right mind wears EIGHT INCH HEELS? :O

i usually wear sneakers... because they are comfortable to walk with.
the highest heels i have are probably 2 to 3-inch high, and i only wear them to wedding or some special events that require formal dressing
it better be a damn beautiful shoe if i were to sacrifice my comfort.
and if i DID wear those heels, i'd make sure i'm going somewhere where i can sit lol
4 inch is MAX for me
6-8inch = HOOKER SHOES
BUT DAM THOSE PRADA SHOES ARE HAWTTT - but they dont look like 8inch =S

absolutely not...3 inches max...and that's for special occasions. i prefer flats =D
