If I could only focus on one area of my face everyday while getting ready, it would be my mouth. Between brushing, flossing, teeth bleaching and lip gloss applying, I spend the most time on my mouth than anything else. Lip gloss is always a purse necessity for me. You can change your look from day to night in a sweep of a wand, changing your color from a light nude shade to a sassy red look. And there's a bonus! With all the different types of lip glosses out there (lip plumper, 24-hour color stay), my look would never grow old.
And now, through the genius of a lip gloss, my dreams have come true.
CoverGirl's
new Wetslicks Amazement Lipgloss not only makes your lips look phenomenal, but it also freshens your breath and whitens your teeth.
How, you may ask, is this magical combination made possible?
The GENIUS staff at CoverGirl has taken Crest toothpaste essential oils and injected their lipgloss with them, creating a gloss that freshens your breath with every application. I've just received mine in the mail (in the shade "Freedom of Peach") and have officially become obsessed. The same oils are supposedly meant to brighten your smile too, making your teeth whiter.
For me, this is just about as close to Heaven as I can get through a tube of make-up.
What do you think about these new makeup products combining so many daily primping activities? What do you think would be the ULTIMATE makeup product?

I'm interested... XD
but it probably doesn't make your teeth whiter.
Sounds good, but for some reason, it seems to me that there will be some insane side-effect to it, like it causes baldness or something nuts like that.
Um I don't understand how it freshens breath and whitens teeth if the product goes on your LIPS... it might have a minty smell to it, but the point is, it's coming from your lips, not your breath.
@serendipity3m@xanga - Exactly what I was thinking.
I think this is another instance where people don't think and have been fooled by advertisements =|
WEIRD! i agree with @serendipity3m@xanga - if its on ur lips, how does it make your breath smell any better?? lol
I have my doubts about this.
Okay, I agree with Serendipity3m about the effect of the minty-ness coming only from the lips, possibly slightly masking bad breath, but the claim to whiten teeth...let's just say that if you put your COLORED lipgloss on your teeth, no one will be able to tell that they're any lighter!!! LOL! We just keep getting lazier and stupider with each commercial we see!!!
im skeptical about the whitening. isn't whitening supposed to scrape off your enamel or something?
@serendipity3m@xanga - I agree.
I have this. But I don't agree that it's such a miracle. It smells wonderfully minty and the gloss is wonderful, but my actual TEETH and BREATH going through changes? No.
@serendipity3m@xanga - Definitely agree with you.
But tell us if it works after some time? Haha!
I absolutely love this. This is my favorite lip gloss so far. I mean, it doesn't totally whiten your teeth, but I must say, it does leave me with a brighter smile than other lip glosses do. Even when the glossiness rubs off, the color of the lipgloss itself still stays on for hours later! It's also not sticky at all, smells great, and does have a nice minty, refreshing scent and taste.
It must be that you just smell the mint off your lips and perceive it as your breath being minty, and I'm also assuming it just has colours that make your teeth look lighter.
wow! what a great idea =) lol
