  • Freckles: Lovely or Not?

    I have freckles.  I've had them for as long as I can remember.  But there once was a time when I was able to go out in the sun and not come back a few hours later with a new batch of these wonderful (not!) spots. Now, I am not covered in freckles like the woman in the photograph. My freckles are still spaced out enough, and aren't starting to combine into one giant freckle on certain spots of my arms or back.  But I still have enough to despise them. I used to tan in the tanning bed on an almost regular basis until the freckles started popping up on my legs.  I quit because I didn't want to start seeing freckles on my stomach and lower back.  So, the majority of my freckles are on my face, back and arms. 

    I don't find freckles as something attractive, especially the freckles on the woman in the picture.  I also don't know of too many guys out there that think freckles are attractive either.  I've always been hoping to find some sort of freckle remover.  Or maybe there will come a day where I finally accept them.  But for now, I do my best to try to keep somewhat concealed with make-up and self-tanning lotion. 

    How do you feel about freckles? Are they attractive or not?

    Well, it depends, I guess. Every guy (including me) feels differently.


    I can't say as I notice, necessarily, but I think freckles on your face can make you look younger, and also just add ... something, I don't know.


    My sister hates her freckles, and I keep telling her they're awesome! Don't feel bad about them. Either learn to ignore them, or learn to love them! But don't make yourself sick over them. :)

    Freckles are adorable!

    Personally, I have random freckles that are either a) in weird places, or b) barely noticeable. Like I have two on my lips and one under my ear, but I also have three under the corner of my eye that nobody else notices :]

    My bestfriend has Freakles, and were both 13, but anyways she has them all over her facee,  its really. uhm. well lets just say u get used to them, I mean without them on her face. i dont think anyone would no who she is. But shes my friend. Freakles arent badd but dont focus on that. How about putting on some blush, and eye makeup. dont worry about them. God made you for you. (:

    Even with girls who are completely covered in them, it really depends on the girl.

    Freckles are sexy.

    While I'm not as covered as the woman in the picture, I'm pretty close to it. My husband loves them.

    I think the lady in the pic is pretty.  It adds sort of something exotic and exciting, she really stands out in a good way. 
    I have quite a few on my arms and on my chest and very few on my face. I used to hate them but as I grew up I realized how they were cute on other people and decided to embrace mine too.

    I think, freckles are adorable. Large amounts of them, are different. But that doesn't mean that it's a bad thing. I think the lady in the photograph is still beautiful. Love the skin you're in. (:

    My sister has freckles. My best friend is a photographer and used my sister as a model for one of her assignments and ended up photoshopping the freckles off of her face -- it just didn't look like her anymore. I say freckles make a person.


    I know I used to hear people say freckles were angel kisses. Hehe.


    I think freckles are adorable. The woman in the photo looks gorgeous! I, myself, don't have freckles. I have beauty marks -- moles. And I love them as well.

    Natural freckles not caused by sun damage are very cute. I have faint freckles that span across my nose and onto my cheeks. I love them, because they are part of me. My best friend in middle school was covered in freckles, but they looked amazing on her. The girl in that picture just looks like she was in the sun too much, and that isn't very attractive to me.

    I have freckles and moles. My mom has a lot more (almost like the woman in the picture). I don't know if I'll catch up to her, but I hope I don't. I hate them. They are so ugly. I even scratched off a mole on my face once because I was so frustrated.

    I use to think that Asians couldn't get freckles because no one else I knew had them nor did Asian models, but it's just not true. I wasn't born with any of them.

    They appeared more and more, the more I went out in the sun. I'm planning on getting the ones on my face lasered off. Course, it'll cost a pretty penny, but it's not my fault I have so much.

    I think this is all relative and depends. Some girls really make it work. I think some freckles are cute... Hell I have some on my shoulders and face... The more I am in the sun the more they come out as well...

    My BF has been known to point at a very freckled woman and go:  "She's pretty!".  That aside, I don't have then but I kinda think freckles are cute.  It does however depend on the girl.

    that girl in the picture looks like she has a disease :( but as long as freckles are contained, and not out of control like the girl above, freckles aren't too terrible i suppose. i adore the clean, flawless, porcelain skin of an asian. it's much more pure (but maybe boring to some) than the reckless nature of freckles. but i could come to respect a speckled beauty if i saw one.

    oh and too much induced freckle-ing and tanning is damaging and can lead to skin cancer, so i also dislike it for that reason.

    i think freckles are very attractive. whether its just a few on the face, or all over i think theyre really pretty. i love them around the nose and cheeks
