Glasses or Contacts?

Ever since middle school, everyone has been telling me to get contacts in lieu of glasses.
I always chose glasses until my senior year of college; I then purchased both glasses and contacts.
Still, I wear my frames more often. My glasses (more or less) look this Prada pair but with a slight design on the side. Sure, the contacts probably make me look more appealing and people definitely gave me positive feedback the first time I wore them, but my glasses make me feel more confident. I barely touch my contacts when the weather isn't cold (I admit I hate when my glasses fog up in the winter). Does my preference make sense?
Which do you prefer: glasses or contacts? Do you wear both?

Both, absolutely! About 50/50. I wear glasses and think I look great in them, and then when I wear contacts sometimes I just feel naked, haha. Contacts come in handy when you're moshing at a concert, though.
Plus I get a lot of positive feedback when I go without glasses.

i actually wear contacts more. If I wear glasses, its a bit farther from my eye than the contacts so I tend to get more headaches that way.
@soniaxx@xanga - It's the opposite for me! For some reason, my vision is always blurrier with the contacts than with the glasses...equaling more headaches.
I never had contacts but definitely going to be getting them soon because I've been wearing the same frames for two years and I think it's time to get contacts because i'm sick of wearing it all the time. and when I get them, I'd probably wear glasses at home or whenever I'm lazy haha.
i wear glasses and everyone says i look very nice in frames and it's gotten me some past BF's. but i would like to get some contacts and still continue to wear my trusty glasses.
I prefer contacts just because my vision is clearer with contacts on... if that made any sense.Â
I like my glasses.
Some days I don't wear them though, and I get mixed opinions. Some find my glasses attractive, others say they prefer me plain (I play up my eyes anyway-- I don't wear makeup except for black liner).
I personally find glasses very sexy, so I think I like them because of that.
contacts are better because they don't fall off your face when you run! Also, they won't break when someone hits you in the face. =)
I wear glasses at home because I'm one of those people who don't look good with them, haha. So I wear contacts whenever I go out.
I have both but I wear my contacts more than my glasses. I like the way I look in my contacts. It shows off my eyes and eye makeup better. My contacts allow me to wear sunglasses. In the summer my glasses don't slip down my face because of sweat and in the winter I don't have to deal with fogging.
For now, I wear my glasses. I'd totally get contacts but I'm like, afraid of them.

I prefer contacts for normal every day wear, however sometimes glasses (especially with the frames we have) just make the outfit! when it makes the outfit, or I'm trying to look professional, it's glasses all the way! 8)
and if you feel good in them, you wear them, girl! good for you! :D
I had glasses from 8-12yrs old-ish, then contacts from 13-21ish, and now I'm back to my glasses. :o) I got really cute, stylish black and white glasses, but now I do also have my contacts so I can swap. the glasses are easier to deal with. :o)
I want contacts to have the option but for now my Juicy Couture frames do. I look like a brand new person without glasses!

i think glasses look very sophisticated if people choose the right frames that compliment their facial shape and the way they dress.
i will ALWAYS choose glasses over contacts. i still hate the idea of poking my hand into my eye even though i can do it to both eyes in less than 10 seconds flat. but still
if i could be an elton john with all his frames, i'd totally LOVE it....i think it shows off more style. but then again, i don't like much makeup so....that's probably why i like frames more because it is my "make-up."

i have been wearing contacts since 9th grade and i prefer it over my glasses. i'm not used to having my glasses on if i am outdoors. i would love to get laser eye done some day
glasses o.o..because it's better for the eyes @_@..almost ALL my friends have contacts -.- i will not give in!
i prefer contacts because glasses dont go well with my face. but i do wear glasses when i go out SOMETIMES. only when i am out for a short period of time and when it is at night.
I wear neither, but I'm afraid that I might need some!

i personally dislike contacts but i still wear them. only at school or when i go out. the reason why is cuz i think i look weird in the glasses i currently have but if i get nicer looking glasses, i will most likely wear them everywhere i go. unfortunately for me, it's difficult to find glasses that fit cuz i have a tiny face and a narrow head hahha so i have to buy kid sizes.. and they dont have a wide range to choose from =/
but yeah my point being, contacts outside glasses inside.
i prefer glasses cuz they're not annoying. my eyes are really sensitive or something cuz contacts hurt me. and i use soft ones. but my prescription is extremely high cuz of astigmatism. my contacts dry up when i'm walkign so i'm always winking at people.
I've worn glasses since I got them. They are half-rimless and the upper rim is the same color as my hair, so they blend in pretty well. My previous frames had thick rims, and I didn't like that.
I've never tried contacts, but I like my glasses pretty well. People say they make me look smart.
I wear both and I find contacts generally more convenient and comfortable and I don't have to push them back up my nose or worry about them getting knocked off when I'm wrestling one of my kids or goats lol
I also like the way I look in my contacts. But somedays I don't feel like wearing them and I am thankful I have a pair of glasses to slip on instead.
