Glasses or Contacts?

Ever since middle school, everyone has been telling me to get contacts in lieu of glasses.
I always chose glasses until my senior year of college; I then purchased both glasses and contacts.
Still, I wear my frames more often. My glasses (more or less) look this Prada pair but with a slight design on the side. Sure, the contacts probably make me look more appealing and people definitely gave me positive feedback the first time I wore them, but my glasses make me feel more confident. I barely touch my contacts when the weather isn't cold (I admit I hate when my glasses fog up in the winter). Does my preference make sense?
Which do you prefer: glasses or contacts? Do you wear both?

i wear glasses when i dont have the time to do my eye makeup like during the week days before work. weekends i have my colored contacts in :) its good to have glasses when you have tired eyes and it allows your eyes to breathe.
I've worn contacts since the sixth grade. I prefer it, honestly, just because I hate wearing anything on my face [including make up]
I usually wear contacts, but i'll occasionally break out the frames. Agreed, the glasses give me confidence (hey - smart is sexy!!) but i get more attention when i dont....odd how that works.

I usually only wear glasses at home, because my eyes need to rest.
But I don't like wearing glasses when I go out because my the bridge of my nose sweats easily and my glasses just don't stay on.
I wear both, too.
However, I wear my contacts to school and I wear glasses at home - where no one can see me.
I find that contacts are more annoying. :P So if I were to dress for comfort and not style, I'd stick to my normal emo glasses.

I wear both, but wear mostly contacts because I don't like the feel of glasses on my face - especially in winter, when snowflakes fall on my lenses!
i've worn glasses since 5th grade, then i switched to contacts during high school, but now i have both. i wear contacts @ school, & i use glasses @ home, especially when i'm studying because if i fall asleep while studying & i had my contacts on my eyes would be super dry!
I used to wear contacts, but now I just wear glasses.
The contacts were bothering me and my glasses make me look sexy. ;)
Plus I don't need to wear them all the time, well technically I do, but I can see fine, I just have astigmatism and a very slight case or farsightedness lol, but I usually get headaches when I don't wear them.
i wear contacts more often. i only wear glasses when my eyes are red and scratchy. i used to only wear glasses because i was self concious and i felt it was kind of a way to hind behind them. but now, i despise them. the way you seem though, you do it for style ;] & believe me glasses CAN be IN.
im too lazy for contacts so i prefer glasses if and when i decide to wear them.
i like glasses on other people too. its just another accessory.
I love contacts. I never got used to my appearence with glasses.
My glasses tend to fall off my nose easily because I am Asian and barely have a nose bridge.

I wear glasses when I'm at home, or during the school holidays. However, if I'm going out for a shopping trip or some cousin's wedding, I'd wear contacts. I just got them and am planning to wear them to school, though they're rather troublesome.
Glasses. Easier to wear, you're not going to get a weird eye infection or lose the lens, and they kinda anchor your face and make you look more pulled together.
I wear both.

I have worn contacts since I was 12. Wearing glasses sometimes gave me a headache because I'm really sensitive on having things on my nose or near my ears, so it was a bit irritating. My glasses are similar to yours, and I really like the style. I wear both, but I personally prefer wearing contacts because I kind of get annoyed with how glasses feel on my face.
I got glasses in 3rd grade, got contacts in 5th and wear them every single day unless I forgot to order more or I wear them at night.
i want to get laser eye surgery though.
I went with lasik, especially since my company paid for it.

I've thought about trying contacts, but my eyes are extremely sensitive and tear from everything :( i've stuck with glasses but my eyes are getting worse, so i need to wear glasses more now (i'm nearsighted). i guess i might end up trying contacts finally >_<
I wore contacts for a long time during high school, but when I started wearing my glasses, people said that I looked great in them. I've been wearing glasses ever since.
doesn't the cold weather dry out your contacts though? i wear both glasses and contacts for practical reason too, and i mostly wear glasses just because i'm lazy and dislike the hassle of putting in and taking out contacts haha. plus i like glasses- they accentuate my inner geek 8)
