Nail Polish S.O.S

I'm a nail polish addict. I'm always buying new shades, removing and reapplying, and taking note of colors that I like. But lately I've gotten stuck in a rut. I have my ever faithful deep burgundy red, but I'm afraid that's it.
I haven't heard much about any new "it" shades in nail polish for a while, so I was wondering if there were any colors that I could adopt to freshen up my look this winter. Any tips?
What are some of your favorite nail polish colors? What are some colors you've heard are popular right now?

My favorite color is anything blue. I looove blue nail polish.
unfortunately, i don't keep up with nail polish colors because, as a nursing student working in hospitals, my classmates and i aren't allowed to wear it ='(
but i did read in a magazine something about metallic-y shades being in this winter....and my best friend ALWAYS uses bright neon colors, like bright blue, purple, orange...funky stuff like that.....when i'm on break and able to wear nail polish, i personally only go for something simple, like a french manicure, or i paint them black

umm right now the colors that are in are
1. chocolate colored anything- some with red bases others w. grey bases
and 2. Grey-ish brown- honestly its the color of mud/dirt
but its veryyy refreshing. its like a pastel mixed w. holiday silver combined with a rich,deep color
lastly 3.very dark grey- metallic or not, its the new "black" (apparently black is out now?) its edgy but also less harsh on paler hands, i still love black though

dark purple, almost black.. although colors that dark are hard to paint on yourself (or at least for me!)
i love pretty obnoxious colors and i paint my nails maybe 1 time day, because i have a nervous habit of chipping my nail polish off lol
I recently found sinful colors nail polish and love them! I love sparkly things lol and they have one that is pretty awesome called starlight, they also have a great bright purple called dream on, and a wine-ish colored one, elated. Another sparkly one I like to put over almost all my other colors is sally hansen's diamond strength nail polish, diamonds.
i just really love nail polish... i could go on forever lol
The people who make nail polish screw you over. They make maybe 5 reds, name them all something different, but the actual tone difference in some of them are so faint that the human eye cannot actually tell the difference, we just THINK they look different.
I'll buy a color here and there (generally OPI) if it doesn't look like something I already have.
my favorite color nail polish is clear. lol, for real. i think it makes nails look clean. and it always matches my outfits, plus my boyfriend likes it.
Light pink, lavender and silver are my favorites =) I'd like to try black and white.

You can try a dark purple, dark blue, and even black if you would like to keep it around there.
I get compliments when I use brighter colors, like yellow, orange, bright blue, and bright purple so I tend to use those. But my favorite one would be this really dark blue/black that has a shine to it. It's edge but glam at the same time.
I just had to comment on this blog, because i'm a nail polish fanatic! i like Sparkling champagne by Maybelline, it's kinda of a combination of peach and baby pink with sparkle! [hence the name]
And to make those red burgandy nails POP, i suggest adding a simple gold line[ as it if was french tipped].
and definitely the dark grape purple nail polish! it IS the new black!
well since it winters,id love to go forhot pink or red coz they are like the warm colors and would look oh-so-hot !!

I've been wearing a bright pink nailpolish on my toes for a good 2 years now. I don't want to change to anything else! Lately, I've been wearing the bright pink on my nails even though I usually don't like to bring much attention to my nails. I also like dark red nailpolish.
I don't really read the names of the different colors. But I usually like the blues, blu-grns, purples and silvers. I try others now and than like dark pinks.
Lately I have become a Nail Polish Addict as well. haha
My favorite color is neon pink, I just love how it makes my hand pop.
I love anything crazy, and anything normal. Haha, what else is left, right? I'm a nail polish fanatic [at heart; I don't apply it much, anymore]. A couple of months back, my friend and I painted our nails neon green and highlighter pink. It was really cute, actually. Now, I have a glow in the dark polish that has sparkles in it, and is pretty much clear, unless you add 3 or 4 extra layers...Mixing colors is cute, too. Silver and black, polka dots, stripes, anything you'd like! I've always loved blue, and now I have a new addiction to purple things. I think I'm leaning towards yellow, too. Metallic colors are always catchy =] Haha, anyway, have fun!
OPI & ESSIE ARE LOVE<3 and so is Zoya for when I want a sparkly pop.
I never know what the "it" colours are, but here are my favourite colours to wear any season, every season:
Black
White ! <3
Hot pink
Dark pink/Neon Burgundish
Dark violet
Red, a timeless classic
The colour of your skintone (seems to elongate my fingers from a distance)
Btw, I hate green, brown, yellow and shiny navy nailpolish.
As far as I've seen, bright-ass neon colors seem to be in style. *shrugs* Eh, they're okay, in my opinion.
pale neutrals - peaches, pinks, light gold, white opal, clear, etc.
dark - dark reddish purple yum

in between - silver, platinum by lancome vernis absolu (it's vintage
nail polish that i had for a few years. it was my favorite until the
top got stuck to the bottle.)
funky - blue, yellow, other colors of the rainbow :)
plum! or any jewel tones for autumn.Â
My favorites for fall are navy blue and dark purple. Revlon makes two shades that are exactly it, Midnight Affair and Plum Attraction. Beautiful colors.
I don't really care about nail polish trends, but I prefer dark and natural colours over neon and bright ones.
