On Tuesday, Apple released a whole bunch of new and completely beautiful iPads as well as new MacBook Pros and a new operating system. And long story short, if you've been thinking about buying an iPad, this is the perfect time! The new iPad Air is 43% thinner than the original iPad and it's the same screen size. It's literally one pound, down a half pound from the original one! Read on to learn more about that and the other new Apple products released today.

1. iPad Air

Starting at $499, it's at the same price point as the normal iPad, but instead of keeping the normal iPads at $499, they slashed the prices by $100, which is great if you want a normal one which isn't refurbished! This iPad comes in Space Gray and Silver, just like the new iPhone 5S. It's available for purchase on November 1 and there is no preorder. As usual, it comes in WiFi only and Cellular Data models on Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Buy it here on November 1!

2. MacBook Pro with Retina display

Last summer, Apple released a new MacBook with Retina display but only in 15-inch. Since then they released a 13-inch one, but Apple has now decided to make them thinner, lighter and cheaper — which is everything we could ever want, right? The 13-inch is only .71 inches thick and $200 cheaper than its predecessor, starting at $1,299. The 15-inch is $700 more. The original non-Retina MacBook is still available in 13-inch only, and that is $1,199. So for $100 more you get a beautiful screen. I think we know what's worth it here. Buy all of the new MacBooks today!

3. OS X Mavericks

The latest operating system, or OS, for Mac computers is here. And it's free! In the past, Mac operating system upgrades were around $10 to $20. Now, Apple is making all upgrades free, which is great and something that I didn't think would ever happen. If you have a Mac, you can download the new OS today on the Mac App Store. Some of the new features are improved notifications, a redesigned Calendar app, redesigned Contacts app, an integrated Maps app and an improved battery life for your Mac. You have no reason not to download this, so do it!
