I never seriously thought about what famous historical figures would look like in color until I came across the work of Mads Madsen, a skilled 18-year-old photo manipulator. Fortunately, Madsen had enough curiosity and expertise to colorize old photographs of historical icons. Now we can see what well-known people like Albert Einstein, Charlie Chaplin, and Charles Darwin might have looked like in color:


If I didn't know better, I would have thought this colored picture of Charlie Chaplin was the original photograph. Madsen's photo manipulations look so realistic!
