It should come as no surprise that it becomes increasingly difficult to stay stylish and on top of your fashion game when you’re pregnant. With a growing baby bump, it is difficult to find clothes that fit correctly and look good. Maternity clothes are also notoriously ill-designed. Many women end up making the wrong pregnancy fashion decisions or giving up on looking their best altogether and go to comfortable route, never stepping out of stretchy yoga pants. One of Hollywood’s pregnant celebrities, Jessica Simpson, seems to have taken the challenge head on and is totally avoiding the baby bump fashion blues. 

While at an event at a mall in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jessica looked absolutely radiant in a floor-length burgundy dress and a black blazer from her self-named clothing line that complimented her growing bump perfectly. Accompanied by her fiancé, Eric Johnson, daughter Maxwell and sister Ashlee, Jessica proved that she’s learned a lot about pregnancy fashion while pregnant with her daughter. 

What I love best about this look is its versatility. She looks stunning, put together and professional, but, accessorized correctly, I can definitely see this outfit work for a day out shopping or taking a walk. Jessica might have a baby on the way and this dress might be designated as maternity wear, but I don’t think the look should be restricted to maternity wear! I’m a huge fan of the Jessica Simpson clothing and accessory lines so I really think anyone could wear this dress and blazer combo, if it were adapted to fit girls who aren’t pregnant, and look totally sharp.
