Spring is upon us and with warm weather comes future vacation plans and memories of vacations past. We all have those goofy vacation pictures our families’ insisted on taking during our trips to Disney World, the zoo or even Grandma’s house. All the cousins flashing toothless grins, parents in their ’80s-early ’90s getup. Then as you get older, those photos — the ones you actually had to get developed — become less common or at least change. Cousins are replaced by boyfriends and girlfriends. Locations become more remote, more exotic. That doesn’t make it better or worse, just different, yet still just as special.

Murad Osmann has a photo series which show his girlfriend, Nataly Zakharova, leading him by the hand around the world. And no matter where in the world they go — China, Russia, anywhere — his girlfriend and their joined hands are always the main focus. I think this brings a new level of romance, intimacy and love to the photo. Not to mention his photos are just gorgeous.
