I love that Converse sneakers never really go out of style; I’ve made sure to keep a black pair of low-tops in my closet since I was in Junior High. My favorite thing about them was that (unless they were falling apart), I never felt any pressure to upgrade them. The pair of low-tops that I have in my closet right now look exactly the same as the ones I had 14 years ago. Some things are so good that they don’t need to change. The same can almost be said for the Spring ’13 collection: they’re still the same shoes, but the details are a bit different. I’m loving these pastels for spring; they’d look cute with a light dress or jeans. 

I will never turn down a pair of animal print shoes; they’re just too fun.

If these had been out while I was in Junior High, I would have definitely worn these instead of my traditional black low-tops. They look much more comfortable, don’t you think?
