My lovely Valentines Day date was brought to a sudden halt when I noticed my throat hurting pretty badly at dinner. It had been kind of sore throughout the day, but I thought it might have been from smoke from incense that had been burning by my bed the night before. I didn’t want to have to tell my date, hoping that I’d just start feeling bed, but by the end of our dinner, it was coming on strong and my head got all stuffy and my throat was in pretty bad pain.

Being the gentlemen that my date was, he kindly took me home and reflected away my apologies, even though we were both disappointed to cute out night short. Then, I was awoken at 3 AM that morning with a fever and a pounding migraine. I told my date about this the next morning when he called to see how I was feeling. He told me he was going to make me his “magical healing tea” that would apparently “sweat the sick” right out me, which was a rather terrifying notion, to be honest. Regardless, I couldn’t remember the last time someone since my own mother even wanted to take care of me when I was sick, so I let him. It was really quite nice.

I was rather hesitant about his at home remedy, but it actually worked wonders! And I feel that it is too good to not share with all of you. So here is the kind of strange tea that made me feel about a million times better…

Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
one clove of garlic
ginger
honey
cayenne

This is extremely simple. Crush up and mince garlic and ginger, then steep in hot water just the way you would a tea bag.

Lovelies, let me know how this works for you if you give it a try. Or rather, it you have your own at home remedies, please share with us what works for you. Hope you are all feeling well.
