Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone! I’ll admit, I’m not much of a football person. In fact, going along with my preference in weather, I’m more of a summer sports — namely baseball – gal. If my NY Giants aren’t playing in the Super Bowl I’m not terribly interested. Despite this, I feel like I’m missing an important part of American culture if I skip out. Fortunately, Super Bowl finger food is the best and I love watching the commercials.
So, what makes an awesome Super Bowl commercial? For me, it has to be hilarious. Not smirk-because-that’s-sorta-clever funny, but oh-my-god-laughing-out-loud-spit-take funny. They need to be unique. They need to have a one-liner that I will be reciting and chuckling at for weeks. They need to have a cute jingle. Basically, something memorable. I can’t wait to see this year’s genius!

I liked the M ‘n’ M’s commercial last yearwhen Red M ‘n’ M toko off his peeling, and the song “Sexy And I Know It” started playing. Hilarious!

I don’t watch the Superbowl, but I google the commercials the day after, hahah.
My all time favourite is the one for I think Volkswagon I think last year with the little boy dressed as Darth Vader running around trying to use the force, when finally he goes to his dad’s car and his dad auto starts it and the boy nearly shits. So cute!
This year the one for Budweiser really got me… with the Clydesdale horses. Two things that make me tear up – the Landslide song and animals loving their owners after a long time. Honestly I BAWLED, hahaha.
