I am always on the lookout for new beauty blogs to follow. Some of my current favorites are Refinery 29, Temptalia, and Pixiwoo. However, following the same few blogs is limiting, so I’m constantly trying to find up-and-coming beauty blogs that I believe will succeed. Plus, it’s exciting to watch a blog grow and take shape, and Lovelies, I’ve found one for you all to keep an eye on: The Radiance Report.
Although it’s clearly in its beginning stages, I love everything about The Radiance Report so far. I find it quite rare that a blog is appeasing to the eye and also reliable. In other words, I really appreciate a beauty blog that’s nice to look at, but also one in which the blogger is knowledgeable. It’s clear to me that the blogger of The Radiance Report knows what she’s talking about.
The Radiance Report has one series so far called “Crazy Things I’ve Done For Beauty,” which includes the daily drinking of a Glowing Green Smoothie, something which I’m extremely interested in. The blog also so far has a couple of looks that I’ve been able to try out with great success, such as “Natural Makeup and Heavy Liner.“
I also appreciate The Radiance Report’s awareness of budget. It often feels like beauty bloggers forget that we can’t spend all of our money trying out new products that are crazy expensive, so it seems promising that one of this blogger’s beauty resolutions for 2013 is to spend less money on beauty products.
Of course, it’s hard to know which beauty blogs will become truly successful, but I can tell you that I subscribed to The Radiance Report and haven’t been let down by the emails I’ve gotten announcing the latest posts.
