In honor of wedding season and Valentine’s day, I thought it might be cool pull together my list of favorite TV wedding and proposals. Some of these are tear inducing, some of them are nostalgic/corny and some are just plain funny… but all of them are totally wonderful.
I am still so jealous of Rebecca Donaldson after Jesse sang to her at their wedding on Full House. My time will come, but until then, I’m just going to pretend John Stamos was singing to me. SWOON.

“The Robin” Barney’s final play on How I Met Your Mother
I am so sorry this video isn’t better quality… it’s so good though. So so so good. You can tell that the girl who filmed this is totally crying.
Any Wedding on All My Children (Specifically any of the zillion times Erica Cane got married)
I grew up watching this show with my mom. All My Children was totally the best soap in my opinion… followed by General Hospital.
“The Nightman Cometh” proposal on It’s Always Sunny In Philadephia
Poor Charlie. I’d say yes.
The entire love story of Homer & Marge Simpson (including the onion ring proposal)
I couldn’t find a good video for this one, but if you are looking to watch the best episode about their past, you can watch “The Way We Was” on Amazon. Season 2 Episode 12… I think. This is the greatest love story ever told.
I know there are a few really good ones I left out. For example:
- Chandler and Monica’s engagement or Phoebe and Mike’s wedding on Friends
- Jim’s proposal to Pam on The Office
- Hilary and Trevor’s wedding day on Fresh Prince

Aw I didn’t know Barney proposes to Robin on HIMYM! Dammit. I also swoon over John Stamos but never saw Full House cos I was too little.

@isitreal_no@xanga - omg… You have too look for that episode. I’m not of Robin, but I set my dislike for her aside because the proposal was way too sweet. ^_^
I agree with all you mentioned (as well as the “honorable mentions”) except for All My Children and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia only because I don’t watch those shows lol. But I think you could have also added Zack and Kelly’s wedding from Saved By The Bell, especially when she walks down the aisle and they flashback to their relationship *tear*, and David and Donna’s wedding from Beverly Hills 90210.

I totally have “Forever” by Jesse & The Rippers on my iPod! LOL.
I and cried SO HARD when Jim proposed to Pam & at their wedding. AHH! Pretty much anything having to do with Jim & Pam’s relationship makes me tear up. I love them. (Can you tell The Office is one of my favorite shows?)
And we cant forget about when Michael proposed to Holly!! That one also made me cry!!
