Love her or leave her, it’s hard to deny that Beyoncé is pretty much the queen of the universe. She and husband Jay-Z have teamed up to create a virtually indestructible brand empire, all while maintaining an air of secrecy around their private lives. (Which of course makes them even more alluring.) Oh, and she’s absolutely gorgeous, and has amazing pipes to boot. Which is why it shouldn’t be surprising that Bey topped GQ’s “100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century” list, blowing names like Megan Fox and Mila Kunis out of the water. And the photo shoot she did for the magazine makes it very clear why she won…
Yep. I’m pretty indifferent about Bey, but I can definitely see why she won this round. The woman is astoundingly beautiful, and she makes sexy look effortless. Sure, I have big problems with some of the objectification going on here, but even I’ll admit that these photos are smokin’. I’m curious to see what the future holds for Beyoncé and her brand! Nope. Fail. Beyonce is a powerful, beautiful woman but this photo shoot just turns her into another run-of-the-mill sex kitten. Nah.
Also, and I hate to open this can of worms, but GQ has clearly lightened Beyonce’s skin. Also she’s been air-brushed to within an inch of her life. If her name had not been on this blog entry, I would have thought she was someone else, some anonymous blond starlet.

Serious question: Who listens to Beyonce? No one I know listens to her and all I ever see on magazines is how she’s #1 and the greatest person of all time. But why?? I don’t get it :/ All I know about her is that she has some pop hits every so often.
I think they chose the wrong person.
