At this year’s People’s Choice Award Lea rocked a rather interesting ensemble and hair style to top it all off. I’m still rather undecided about the whole getup. Let’s take a closer look.
You know, the hair is a lot… it’s really different. Examining the makeup, I see she’s also wearing some purple mascara. Then with the ensemble:
Honestly it’s pretty weird, but I kind of love it. I haven’t seen an A-List celebrity pull off a look so kitschy while remaining classy for quite some time. I also didn’t realize Lea was sporting so much ink on her feet.
I say, go ahead girlfriend!

Surprisingly, I love this !! And purple mascara?? I wanna try that. Also, her makeup is flawless! I think it’s be a little better if she worse nude, enclosed pumps. Just imo.

That particular braid hairstyle is mediocre on her.
Braids are a very versatile and sometimes elegant style choice. But in this picture anyway her braids look a little too messy to be cute, and a little too neat to be considered effortless/bedhead. The bigger&longer the hair, &/or the coarser&curlier the hair, the better braids tend to look (think: African American hair, long hair, or fancy french braids i.e. German braids or Mermaid braids).
Thin, short, & straight hair usually doesn’t garner braids that you’d go gaga over IMO. So yeah as far as braids go “gray areas” are not elite; either go super precise and neat, or go super messy, no in-betweens.
Her dress and makeup is quite lovely though.
