I have this friend who is trying to be funny for a living. When he first tells people this in conversation, he is attacked with demands to make them laugh on the spot. Tough gig. Fortunately, a pinch of self deprecation and a knack for storytelling have helped Dan Sheehan to perform stand up as well as act in sketches he writes on his own or with friends. Hanging out with Dan always ensures a laugh (often directed at him). Unlike many comedians, Dan is special in that he isn’t cruel. He’s a genuinely kind guy who just happens to be funny.

KPT Productions helped Dan, Lucas Rim and Dillon Cassidy to film this sketch tackling “coming out” and the reactions involved. These guys study at the University of Missouri while also pursuing careers in comedy.
