It would be an understatement to say that Alicia Keys has a pretty solid career. Her voice is amazing, her albums sell millions and her sense of style ain’t too bad, either. Recently she went on Letterman to promote her new album, Girl on Fire, and her dress choice was far from safe. At first I thought I hated this, but upon further inspection, I don’t think it’s too bad! No, I wouldn’t wear it out of the house, but she’s kind of rocking the look. I like the sequin detail in the stripes, and the cutout middle is the perfect way to break up a pretty busy dress. The only thing I would change is the neckline, which hangs a little too loosely. Otherwise, this is a hit!
