I’m not sure why, but Anne Hathaway seems to be an awfully polarizing actress. Most of my friends either love everything she’s been in and admire her look, or they detest her with a burning passion. Me, I tend to fall into the first category. I think Hathaway is talented, pretty and that she dresses well. (And it doesn’t hurt that people often tell me I resemble her.) In fact, I would venture to say that she’s on the top ten list of the celebrities I find most stylish. But recently she hit the red carpet in a very questionable ensemble that almost everyone seems to dislike…
Yeah…this is bad. Really bad. The sleeves are enough to make it a miss, but that beading. Oh goodness, the beading. Especially that row going right up the front. This dress looks like a mix of Victorian bride and 70s club girl, especially with that awful neckline. I will say, however, that the back looks pretty nice. The rest of this, however, is an enormous miss.
Hit or miss, Lovelies?

Get rid of that beading and do something else with the neckline and it’d be golden. That being said, I don’t find it awful. I actually really love the sleeves.

It looks pretty from the back, the not so pretty from the front.

Outfit, horrible… But her face and hair, flawless.

i think the back of the dress and the material itself isn’t so bad. it’s just that horrid cut in the front!

If it wasn’t beaded, I would love it.
