I love coffee. A lot. In fact, I’m somewhat ashamed to say that I’m one of those people who can’t function in the morning without a cup of it. I must dream about the stuff constantly, because it’s the first thing I think of when I open my eyes. So, as an avid coffee drinker, I was…interested to hear that Starbucks is coming out with a fancypants $7 cup of Joe. And I wasn’t the only one who took notice; Jimmy Kimmel, king of late-night pranks, also found the news interesting. In fact, he used it to pull a fast one on a number of coffee lovers!


Hah! I wonder if I would have noticed the difference. Probably not, because when I drink coffee I simply guzzle it down as fast as possible for the much-needed caffeine. However, as much as I love the stuff, I certainly wouldn’t pay $7 for it. Good luck making that work out, Starbucks! [via The Laughing Squid]
