It’s no secret that I am a cat person. I own a cat. I have a freaking cat tattoo. I like the critters. But…well, honestly, I’m not quite sure I would want a human version of a cat for a friend. Even my own feline, who I feed, pet and care for, shows me little respect on a daily basis. I mean, c’mon: I clean up your poop. You could at least let me pet you. But even though cats wouldn’t make very nice humans, dogs would be too nice in the form. Need proof? Just check out this hilarious video!
Having lived with both cats and dogs, I can easily say that seems about right. They may make for great furry companions, but darn if they wouldn’t be weird and annoying as humans. I’ll just stick with a snuggly furball, even if she does occasionally bite me. [via Daily of the Day]

Well, I’ve had both dogs and cats, but I’m more of a cat person. Isn’t it funny how dogs and cats have their own special way of communicating with you with their interesting personalities?

I like and have both cats and a dog (2 cats: a black manx and a DSH, and a dog: a Doberman). Quite frankly being non-human is precisely their charm. I can’t stand people and/or much of anything people do. I think humans make terrible friends, honestly. There’s nothing like the loyal friendship of a canine companion and the quirky cuteness of a feline companion. No human will ever be able to replicate the bond between owner and pet, and dare I say it, human friendships just seem so “cold” in comparison to the bond we share with our animals.
Pets > people.

The video was pretty funny, but only one of my three cats is like the “cat”. My other cat is much more like the “dog”, always greeting me when I come home and begging (in the loudest, most annoying voice EVER) to go outside to play. The third cat is a little slow and is cuddle bug who plays favorites.
Also, cat A will eat cat B’s puke if I don’t clean it up fast enough.
