After losing out to a bid on the Toronto Maple Leaf‘s 1967 Stanley Cup Banner, a super fan sets his sights on another item: the dressing room toilet. Now, that’s one dedicated fan!
Surprisingly, the toilet spurred up a total of 49 bids, lucky fan Jim Vigmond won the porcelain throne for $5,300. Even more surprising is that Vigmond claimed that he would have gone all the way up to $10,000!
Many of Jim’s friends poked fun saying that their lawyer friend has completely thrown his money in the crapper. (Good one fellas). But, Jim says that he plans on putting his prize in his memorabilia room where he will smoke a Cuban cigar and watch a Maple Leaf’s game.
What to you think of Vigmond’s auction bid?

He spent $5,300 on a toilet? Without even standing up?
JK. That’s… odd.

It’s even funnier since the guy’s a Leafs fan.

That is hilarious! The Leafs are Terrible, but we (I mean… the Leafs…) have one of the biggest fan bases of most professional sports teams. Seriously, they lose every game, and yet they sell out every ticket of every home game.
