An internet sensation was born when 72 year old Liu Xianping began modeling women’s clothing for his granddaughter’s e-store. It all started with a normal day of unpacking clothes for the shop when Liu started trying things on for fun. His granddaughter thought it was hilarious, started snapping pictures and soon, everyone loved Grandpa Liu. He definitely channels Karl Lagerfeld in a big way! So what does Grandpa Liu think of his new modeling career? According to Off Beat China, Liu told journalists:

“Why unacceptable for someone like me to wear women’s clothes? Modeling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose. We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy.”
