Plenty of actors will go a long way for a role. Just look at Christian Bale’s dramatic weight loss for The Machinist, or our beloved Ryan Gosling, who purposely put on pounds for The Lovely Bones. (And he was dropped from the role after doing so! Nonetheless, I’d still sit down for a fattening meal with him.) Charlize Theron is another actor who has drastically altered her appearance for a part. In fact, doing so earned her an Oscar for 2003′s Monster. Well, it’s official: Charlize Theron is still one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, even with a shaved head on a casual day out. I’m lucky if my hair dries correctly on a daily basis, and yet she still manages to look lovely without any. So what’s the new ‘do (or lack thereof) for? An upcoming role in a new Mad Max movie! While I’ve never seen any of the titles in the series, I’m sure I’ll be buying a ticket just for Theron’s role. [via Buzzfeed]
