My family is the definition of casual. And yeah, that can be a really good thing… but it also leaves me daydreaming for excuses to get all dolled up.
So after drooling over the endless holiday dresses out there, I’m going to pretend that it wouldn’t be out-of-place to wear a pretty dress during our holiday parties (and, while I’m at it, I can pretend that I actually have the money to spend!).
In that case, here are my picks for the cutest holiday dresses!
The majority are under $50 and can be worn casually (I would wear the cat one every single day). Plus, I liked the swinginess of them — sweater-dress excluded — because they would do a good job at hiding all the holiday indulgences!
If you like anything you see, you can shop the looks here.
Do you Lovelies dress up for the holidays, or is your family as casual as mine?

I just purchased that the other day. A little more than what I would normally pay, however this is doing double-duty since I’m wearing it for my graduation in December (ahh so nervous!) and my boyfriend’s company holiday party.

I really like the kitty one! Ahhh too bad it’s from Romwe, I’m not that patient with things coming from overseas. I will just have to sew my own.

@ask_ashleyyy@xanga - that dress is SO CUTE. It’s classy but so versatile! and congratulations on graduating, by the way! I know it’s scary… but it’s also so so awesome!

The green dress is my favorite.
I dress up more casually for the holidays.
I normally wear a sweater, and some jeans.
