Everyone loves a neat mind trick. (Or at least I do.) It’s fun to have your brain messed with and puzzled just a little bit, especially when you think you can best someone who is obviously setting you up. Usually such trickery requires live interaction, but some super-magicians can fool you simply by using the Internet. Don’t believe me? Then check out this video that may just predict your every move!
Did he predict your final selection? He definitely did mine! I know this is some mathematical trickery (and some use of subliminal imagery, if you look close), but it was still fun to do. I’d love to find some more Internet fodder that messes with my noggin! [via Gawker]

@wyrdkismet@xanga - I didn’t watch the whole video. However, if you’ll do the first two sequences (one move followed by seven) you’ll see it is impossible to land in the house. I’m thinking it’s mostly math and prob&stats.

It’s all math. The set up, the number of times he tells you to move and the fact you can’t move diagonally or stay in place is so that you never pick the symbol he removes.
No subliminal message.
