Rita Ora sometimes has a bit of an eclectic style, but the Marchesa gown she wore last night to the MTV European Music Awards looked absolutely magical. It was different than most ballgown style dresses in that it was a scarlet and long sleeved. Overall, I give it a huge hit, but what do you think?
It needed somebody to carry the train for part of the red carpet since the train was so long and heavy, which is sort of fantastic since you don't get to see a lot of huge trains these days. Sometimes, big dresses can feel old-fashioned, but the color and shape of this, plus her light, fluffy hairdo all make this much more modern. Her signature red lips coordinate perfectly while the light, polished eye makeup keeps it from getting overdone. I'm not sure I'd ever wear something with a whole lot of strategically placed little flowers on the top half, but I think it works well here.
Lovelies, what do you think of Rita Ora's red carpet look?
