One of the most famous couples in the world is no longer. After a two-year relationship, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have gone their separate ways.
It seems like distance and not spending enough time together caused the split. “Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship,” a source said. “With them being apart so much, it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It’s not easy, but the relationship needed to end.” The breakup wasn’t a total surprise, as rumors have been going around for weeks that the couple was having problems. Justin was even seen hanging out with another girl, Victoria Secret model Barbara Palvin.
Although they aren’t a couple right now, many think the Biebs and Selena might reunite in the future. “They are young…it changes from day to day,” a source said. “Right now it is a break and tomorrow it could be back on knowing them. It’s hard to say how they will end up.”
It always sucks when a relationship ends, but I think it’s important to remember that they are young. I mean, Justin’s barely legal at 18 and Selena’s only 20. Plus, they’re both rich celebrities, so something tells me that neither of them will have trouble finding a replacement.

I hate when people put down young relationships because they’re, well, young. I’m 19, I’ve been with my boyfriend since I was 15; 4 years now, that’s a lot longer than many people I know in their mid-to-late 20′s. We’ve always had a mature & successful relationship.

@Rebekka Wilkinson@facebook - I don’t know if it’s balls, or just the likelihood that it will end. Lots of things change when you get older whether you want them to or not. And so for many people relationships they get into when they’re young don’t work out or last how they were hoping. Not in any way saying that it’s destined to happen to all young people in relations, just that it’s common. So them saying it generally isn’t a direct dig at you, more of a over generalized fact that bitterness/jaded-ness brings about.
As for Selena I’m sure she’ll be fine and find someone new. Being in the spotlight sucks though, cannot be easy trying to have a relationship like that.
