Jennifer Lawrence is undoubtedly one of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood. The Hunger Games star has her image plastered all over both the tabloids and fashion spreads, and the public can't seem to get enough of her winning personality, sense of humor and down-to-earth nature. But even though Lawrence may be one of the hottest stars around, she still has refreshingly normal insecurities. In fact, she recently called herself "obese" in an interview with Elle magazine!
This is what Lawrence had to say about her body and Hollywood standards:
In Hollywood, I’m obese. I’m considered a fat actress. I’m Val Kilmer in that one picture on the beach."
While I appreciate the sentiment, somehow I find this hard to believe. I mean, even a Google image search of "Jennifer Lawrence fat" yields nothing but flattering results. I understand actresses trying to be more relatable, but this seems to be stretching it a bit. Nonetheless, it's nice to see a celebrity be so candid about what she thinks of her body. I'm just going to try and not think about how my figure would be seen in Hollywood! [via EW]
