After nasty comments continue to fill the web and magazines about The Voice coach, Christina Aguilera‘s weight, Adam Levine has decided to take a stand and defend his colleague for the second time.
While appearing as a guest on the Ellen show, Adam made it very clear to the host that he wants Christina to be left alone about her weight saying, “It’s a very basic thing, she should be left alone. No one should bother or haggle her about her weight or anything that she does or says. So that’s it. That’s how feel about it”.
This comment comes just a couple of weeks after Levine publicly lashed out at critics talking poorly about Aguilera’s weight gain.
The duo has had their differences in the past, including many snarky remarks and mini feuds on The Voice, but at the end of the day, they respect one another and will stand up for each other. Kudos to Adam for being such a stand-up guy.
What do you think of Adam defending Christina’s weight?

It’s sad that she would probably get less comments if she was skinny and starving herself. She’s healthy and that’s all that should matter.

I feel her weight shouldn’t be this big of an issue.

i’m glad he stood up for her kinda, but i would have love it if he said something more stern like, people who fous on christina or any other woman because of her weight and instead of her talent are idiots and should be ashamed of themselves, or something perhaps more well thought out than that

I think he’s wonderful… and so sweet. I’m happy he stood up for her.

I think we should all stop commenting on peoples weight, famous or not… It’s their own body, nobody should critize or judge..
I am so, so sick of body snarking! Hearing people say, “eat a cheeseburger” to someone skinny or telling someone fat to “stop eating” is sick and disrespectful…

Good for him, that’s a good man .
And as for her, I think she looks AMAZING .

Haggle her about her weight?
guest
I definitely agree that people need to mind their own business. Talking about other peoples’ weight makes them look incredibly sad.

She’s so pretty. Glad he said something but it’s weird he had to.

Aw, I love him.

It’s absurd. If you want to haggle her, she provides no shortage of other areas in which to do so. It’s almost lazy ( as well as ignorant ) to mock her weight. Should people live healthier? Sure. I don’t think that we, as a society, should “accept” obesity. It’s something that’s become a plague for us, and as a society we should be focusing on living healthier, and encouraging others to do the same. But that isn’t the same as mocking or ridiculing her for her weight.
Seriously, if you want to give her a hard time, put a little effort into it. (That’s what she said.) Going on her weight is just taking the easy way out.

Christine is beautiful, just a bit too much make-up though.
