It seems like voting in the election is all anyone is talking about today. From social media to in-person conversations, I feel like I haven't discussed anything but politics. As Americans go to the polls today to cast their vote, I think it's important to remember that women didn't always have this right. We weren't allowed to vote until the passing of the 19th Amendment in 1920, and that only came after the hard work and endless dedication of many important individuals.
