Hurricane Sandy: it’s all that the Internet seems to be able to talk about today. And its easy to see why; the darn thing is really scary! Even though I’m safe and dry in Austin, I’ve still been following news regarding the East Coast. While most people seem to be in fairly jovial spirits, some rabble rousers have been posting fake Sandy images to the Internet in order to get people riled up and frightened. (Like the bad Photoshop job above.) Here are some photos to keep an eye out for as you follow the news!
OK, that photo of some guy jogging through the weather in a horse mask is actually real. (And awesome.) But the rest of these are as phony as a million dollar bill. (Some are even from The Day After Tomorrow!) So if you’re in the storm’s path, don’t get freaked out if you see these shots. Instead just stay safe and take advantage of some serious indoor time!
