Okay, so I’m not a huge fan of the band that this fellah Brad used to lip sync his proposal to his lovely lady Emily, but that’s not the point. The point is: it’s adorable. And I love seeing happy people in any way, shape or form (as long as it’s not harming anybody, obviously), so this makes me smile a ton. Not only does it involve a cute-as-a-kitten proposal, but it also involves an entire cast of people. Check it out!

How adorable and ridiculously complicated was that, eh? It was adorable in general, but seeing such happy looks on people’s faces is what really gets to me. Even when I don’t know the folks, I still get so excited to see genuinely content, excited and surprised expressions. He has a production company apparently, so the cynic in me thought for a second that it might be kind of to gain publicity, but they just look so darn cute that my cynicism was brushed away.

That said, I have to admit that I totally never, ever, ever want a significant other to propose that way. Ever. The only person I’ve ever dated with whom I discussed marriage with in a serious way would never do that, thank goodness, and I would probably be really irritated if he did. Not because I think big ol’ proposals are stupid; in fact, for some people, they’re exactly fitting to their personalities which is the most important thing about a permanent relationship: you fit together. But for me, I’m not a public-proposal type. I always told him that I wanted something quiet, if anything at all, and I’m still at that policy for the future.

Lovelies, what do you think about this proposal? Would you enjoy one this wild?
