Remember back when I said I couldn’t wait for chilly weather? I take it back! This morning, my city dropped to 40 degrees and it even snowed six inches in certain parts. In my windbreaker and flats, it’d be an understatement to say I was unprepared…


 
The only good thing about this turn of events is that I now have an excuse to go shopping (though, generally, it’s not hard for me to find an excuse). On my list is a warm coat, big scarves, thick socks and the thing I’m most excited for: mittens! Who doesn’t love mittens?!

Not only do they keep bony little fingers warm, but they come in all sorts of fun colors and shapes. And they rhyme with “kittens,” so…there’s that.
