I love when people make unexpected, yet simple, things work. For example, in the following outfit worn by Kylie Minogue this week, there are a few things I wouldn’t normally pair together, but I actually really like ‘em on her. Check it out! 


I think she looks fantastic! Layering is almost always wonderful, particularly in well-coordinating colors, and I think this outfit looks pretty warm on a rainy day despite having a skirt as opposed to pants. I’m not usually a big fan of brown with black, but for some reason, it works here. While I would’ve paired ankle boots with that skirt, as I said, it looks rainy so the taller ones are more justifiable. In any case, I desperately want that coat.
