Tuesday night’s Presidential debate generated a lot of questions about the respective parties. Do Romney’s tax numbers actually add up? Is Obama worth another four years? Where can I get a binder full of women?!
But throughout all the press coverage, there was one question not being asked, and I think you know what it is…
Who wore it best?
The floor is open for debate, my friends!
I’m talking about Ann Romney and Michelle Obama’s matching pink outfits, of course!
Now, granted, there were much heavier issues at stake during Tuesday’s battle — but what’s wrong with a little tongue-in-cheek debate about the merits of each Pepto Bismol-inspired getup in the midst of an all-out political war?
Let’s examine each.
Michelle took the classic route, wearing a Michael Kors shift with a modest neck and hemline. A cropped jacket in the same bright hue finished the look. Ann wore Oscar De La Renta in the same color, but shook things up a bit (as far as shaking things up goes in political garb) by wearing a textured, cap-sleeved shift. She paired the dress with a green necklace and a printed shawl.
Surprisingly, I’m a pretty big fan of the color on both ladies (after all, it does represent National Breast Cancer Awareness Month). I love the simplicity of Michelle’s look, but I also love Anne’s short-sleeved dress. Her shawl, though? Not so much…
So I don’t know, you guys. It’s easier for me to pick political sides than to choose which lady did the ultra-pink look better!
What do you Lovelies think?

Michelle wins for me. Ann has too much going on in her outfit.

Michelle looks awesome in that dress.. She wore it best in my opinion.

I’m more amused by how awkward Mitt and Ann look kissing each other…

I think Michelle looks better in her pink frock than Ann.

@shpadoinkle12@xanga - Haha, me too. It’s like they’ve never kissed before. Could she be a beard? Lolz.

I like Obama’s dress better, but Romney accessorized better. Except that shawl. My god, that thing is dreadful.

at first glace i liked ann’s first, but when i got a closer look and saw them both from the side michelle’s is way nicer.

Overall I like Michelle’s look better, it’s really classy and polished.
I admire Ann taking a chance though, she still looks pretty snazzy with that dark purple/champagne damask jacket and chunky necklace

@shpadoinkle12@xanga - LOL!!!!
FLOTUS Michelle Obama wins it for me. I think the fit of her dress looks better… But I will commend Romney’s wife for a green necklace against the pink.

is this a real question? michelle, duh.

Who dressed Romney’s wife and let her wear that shawl?

I don’t think Ann Romney’s dress flatters her figure, so Michelle Obama is the winner for me as well.

Michelle always looks like she hugging her son. Ann and Mitt both looked a bit stressed, because of the debate. I like both their dresses, but Ann’s looked a little fresher. Michelle’s was pretty much the same old thing. Too Jacqueline Kennedy, and she is no Jackie O.
