Do any of you remember the McJordan hamburger that McDonald’s sold for a limited time in the ’90′s? After keeping a container of the sauce in his basement for almost twenty years, a man recently sold it on eBay to a buyer in Chicago for almost $10,000. Wowza.
Mort Bank, of Bismarck, saved the gallon jug of sauce after selling his McDonald’s restaurants in Bismarck-Mandan and Minot in 1996. The sauce was used on McJordan hamburgers (named for Michael Jordan) and was sold in limited markets for a short time in the 90′s, when Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to multiple NBA championships. The sauce was sold to an unknown buyer in Chicago, but Bank is pretty sure that it’s not Jordan himself.
“I’m sure he’s a Bulls or Michael Jordan fan, and hopefully he’s not going to put it on his ribs or his burger,” Bank told KXMB-TV of the buyer. “But it’s up to him; he can do whatever he wants with it.” [via Huffington Post]
What do you think of this crazy purchase, Lovelies? Do any of you remember the McJordan hamburger?

@XxQuT3nShYxXBX@xanga - i think he had owned a few mcd’s in the 90′s… he also mentioned in an interview that he had a ton of vintage happy meal toys in storage too. THAT’S something i’d like to see… i remember my brother and i having our birthday parties there back in the day, haha… oh memories.
