13-year-old Talia Castellano was diagnosed with cancer at age 7, but hasn’t let her diagnosis stop her from living a life that people triple her age have yet to live. She decided to put her love for makeup to good use and began her own YouTube channel where she gained a huge following of supporters, including Ellen DeGeneres.
The ever-popular talk show host decided to have Talia on her show to share her story with the world. Of course, being on Ellen, one never goes away empty-handed.
Ellen got in touch with the people from CoverGirl, as she is a spokeswoman for the brand, and gave Talia the news that they wanted her to be an honorary CoverGirl with her own cover.
That was not the last of the surprises though. Talia also got the chance to attend the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada where she got to mingle with and interview Ryan Seascrest, Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani and Usher.
Even though Talia is in and out of the hospital receiving many treatments for her illness, she continues to post videos for her fans and viewers from her hospital bed.
She has a spirit that stretches far and wide when most people would have given up. We wish Talia the best of luck and a clean bill of health!

It’s awesome that despite her struggles in life, she puts positivity into the world. She’s also very pretty, I love her eyes they’re gorgeous!

She is definitely an awesome little girl with a great sense of style. I need that sweater for my weekend wardrobe. That picture of her and Usher is adorable.

She has an attitude on the Ellen show. “what do you want me to do? Be depressed?! A fish told me to just keep swimming , etc.” it was quite annoying. I applaude her for her success and over coming cancer but she’s in her preteens acting a bit sassy.

She looks like the child Talia al Ghul from the Dark Knight Rises. Or is it just that thing where all bald people look alike?

@iKEEPiTCLEAN@xanga - really? I thought the ‘just keep swimming’ reference was cute (after all, Ellen did voice the character that said that in Finding Nemo’…) I don’t know how on earth you could call her a prissy teenager. You seriously need to meet the average teen nowadays. haha

It’s amazing the horrible things people say to this girl on her Youtube channel. Clearly she does not let it get her down.
She really is inspirational. If I were diagnosed with such a disease the first thing I would do is regret all of the time I’ve wasted and how self-destructive I’ve been. She’s been dealing with this most of her young life and appears to have lived in a way that she would not regret

Ohhhh, fuck off.

@iKEEPiTCLEAN@xanga - how was that sassy?
