It may be Fall 2012, but that doesn’t mean that fashion designers aren’t thinking far ahead! Especially when it comes to weddings: after all, it seems like most brides have the dress picked out months and months before their ceremony. Which is why the Fall 2013 bridal shows were this week, where top name designers showed off some amazing (and sometimes strange) looks for fashion-forward brides. Click here to look at some of the most unique ones!
When it comes to fashion, I’m a pretty traditional gal. Which is probably why I really like the somewhat 20s-inspired dress pictured up top. But on occasion something more contemporary will catch my eye, and while I wouldn’t wear that second dress to walk down the aisle, it’s still incredibly awesome. What do you think of these dresses? Which one is your favorite?

I think they’re all incredibly stunning! But then again, I love all wedding gowns in general (: The fourth to last one would have to be my favorite though. It has such flare to it. Imagine walking down the aisle with that one on! It just screams, “All Eyes On Me!” haha x

While that blush/cream mermaid style dress isn’t very full figure friendly, I think it is lovely and romantic for a formal spring wedding. I’m glad to see more colors than the typical white and ivory, but as a general notion most modern wedding gowns are of that nature. The second picture in the article is nice, but I feel it is better suited for a bridal shower or even Easter. The first picture in the gallery, I’m not a fan. It reminds me folded fabric napkins. I’m sure I wouldn’t want anyone pulling my skirt to dab their mouth. I like most of the short dresses, they’re pretty casual–perfect for nontraditional weddings such as backyard, beach or Vegas, or second wedding dresses worn at the reception for dancing. It seems to be pretty common nowadays to have two white dresses for your wedding. A more formal gown for the ceremony and flirty cocktail dress for the reception.

Personally, I really don’t like any of them and some of them are kind of hideous. The only one I would consider wearing is the one after the pink dress in the gallery. I would only wear it for a recommitment ceremony with a Science Fiction theme.

Other than the pink one, these are lovely

The 4th, 5th, and 6th ones in the gallery really stood out for me.
