Sometimes I stumble across incredible photos of places, and it takes a lot for my brain to realize that these photos aren’t Photoshopped. The world really is that amazing.

For example, Lake Retba (or Lac Rose) in Senegal. It’s named for the pink color caused by Dunaliella salina (a micro-algae found in sea salt fields). The lake has such a high salt content, that much like the Dead Sea, allows people to float easily…. not to mention that it looks like a pink milkshake! That’s pretty awesome!

There are a lot of places in this world that don’t look real at all, but are totally incredible and now officially on my list of places I’d like to see in my life time. Check out some of these incredible places that seem totally unreal.
