We all have little mental slip-ups on a regular basis. (Mine are pretty much an everyday occurrence.) And sure, sometimes these mistakes may occur in front of family and friends, and we all get a good-natured laugh at the expense of someone we love. But one woman had a serious mental fart on live radio, where she called in to complain about deer crossing signs…and how they were supposedly directing deer to cross in high-traffic areas. I’ve been having a kind of crummy day, but this made it so much better. I can’t stop laughing! I’ve done my fair share of very dumb things in my time, but thankfully none of them have been broadcast on public radio. I wonder if this woman ever actually figured out the purpose of the signs? I hope this is all bs. So the caller’s had three accidents involving deer and she says the signs encourage the deer to cross? No, dumbass. The signs are there to alert drivers that the area has a high deer population and to keep an eye out for them in case they decide to cross the road.
