It’s no surprise that we here at Lovelyish are pretty obsessed with braids (check this out!), but honestly, I’m a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to braids and updos. I was never really into things like that when I was younger (I’ve had pretty much the same haircut since I was six years old), and my mother always had short hair, so she never really showed me any tricks or different ways to wear my longer hair. Thanks to Pinterest and some lovely bloggers, I have an arsenal of braided styles and updos for those lazy dirty hair days. So get your scrolling finger ready, because these tutorials come with step-by-step pictures!
This one looks super easy. I’d just spray some volumizing dry shampoo in my hair the night before, so I’d have major bedhead and more volume.
Check out the gallery for other awesome braids/updos! Including the Braided Bun, the Side Braid Ponytail, the French Fishtail Seashell Braid, the Mermaid Tail Braid, the Braided Headband Updo, the Braided Crown and the Braided Headband
I love how simple this one is… I’d probably pull the rest of my hair into a messy ponytail too.
Which ones are your favorites? Don’t forget to check out our Lovelyish hair board on Pinterest (and feel free to check out my personal one, too!)

I love braids
My hair isn’t quite long enough to do these styles yet, but it’s getting there. 4 more inches to go

I’m a certified braid fiend. I always do a some kind of braid hairstyle at least once a week for school. And I always do my sister’s hair cuz her hair’s so effing long!
