Fashion forward celebrities such as Beyonce and Miranda Kerr have been caught sporting the new shoes trend, wedged sneakers. These stylish kicks come in sleek and classic looks as well as blinged out and accessorized to the max.
Here are some of my favorite versions of the trend:
AMI Clubwear $37
Steve Madden $149.95
GoJane $34.60
Report Footwear $130
ShoeDazzle $39.95
Skechers $89
What do you think of wedged sneakers? Would you ever wear them?

Nope. I buy sneakers for running. Heels aren’t meant for running.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. EW. It’s like a repeat of what happened when I was in high school they had these other hideous sneaker high heel things. and then those hideous high heeled timbalands. PLEASE STOP DOING THESE AWFUL THINGS, DESIGNERS.
guest
No, thank you. I won’t be wearing any sneaker and heel hybrids.

I dislike this trend. A lot.

it looks like walking with a fractured ankle.

Wasnt this a thing in the 90s too? The Spice girls wore wedged sneakers, specifically Geri & Emma. I had a pair from skechers. They were SO comfortable! I even wore them in gym class!

This has even around, if it is done with the right shoe it can be really cute.

I’ve seen these for the past year… I like them, but only if they’re black. I don’t really like to wear sneakers because they make my feet look big. A wedge will make my legs look longer and make my feet look smaller. Win.

I love this >_<;

At first I was totally not into this trend but now I see them everywhere in NYC and am so surprised by how cute they can look. It’s not for me (I’m such a klutz in heels), and I wonder if they’re comfortable but think that some ppl can rock this shoe.

Oh hell no….

New trend? These things have been around for at least five years now. In any case, I like them.

To me these are the like the worst of heels and the worst of sneakers, combined

Not new, and no. Just no.

If I see a girl wearing a pair of those fucking things, I’m going to rip one off of her foot, and beat her back to sanity with it.
guest
NO WAY.

honestly, it’s cute if you know how to pair it up and which one to get.
guest
i saw some sketchers one the other day, they were actually kinda cute.

why don’t you just wear hightops?
guest
That’s not my new trend

I think they’re nice for certain people. Some people buy sneakers for running, but why not have a pair for style? I would wear these if I was going out on a date or something.

I’m not much of a wedge fan in general. My aunt has a pair of Bebe sport shoes that are wedged like this, they make her feet look uber small and a little awkward.
