Rihanna has been the source of endless scrutiny lately. From a kiss with Chris Brown, to photos of them hanging out and rumors that they’re getting back together, he public has tons of gossip to be interested in (and mad about) when it comes to the pop star. But, despite her tumultuous personal life, Rihanna recently released a new single, “Diamonds,” which received mostly positive critical reception. And now the title and cover for her new album have been released! (Warning: the cover could be considered NSFW for some workplaces.)
The image above is the cover for her new album, Unapologetic, which is due out in November. I can only assume that the words on it are song titles, since “diamonds” is written there at the bottom. Or perhaps they’re just the themes of the album. I suppose we only have about a month to wait and see!

I think her album cover and single is pretty cheap, and by cheap I mean it just kind of feels like both things were thrown together messily and without any creativity just to make a “hit” that’ll fly for the name instead of for the quality of the art or song

I’m guessing that’s her way of saying she doesn’t care what people’s opinions are of her getting back together with Chris Brown. And what the heck does chalice have to do with anything, I wonder?

I’ve never liked much about her, her personality always annoyed me, her singing mostly annoyed me, she’s never been all that attractive to me probably because she just seemed more trashy…..buuuut I do kind of like that Egyptian tattoo she has on her sternum under her breasts. Pretty nifty and cute how the wings sorta cup her breasts (if she wasn’t holding one up and blacked out the other). Though I wonder if in 20 years when they sag if the wings will be covered or if her skin on her torso will sag along with it.
Oh as for the album cover, could have been good if they picked a better, more readable font along with better/more appropriate words, and had left out that silly diamond and # symbol stuff.

Hmm it’s kind of a jumbled cover with all of the writing, but I think her topless pose is done as tastefully as possible (for a topless pose anyway). It’s hard for me to dislike anything/ any style Rihanna does b/cuz I am a fan. Even though I’m kind of a Chris Brown hater but whatever. Honestly I wish she’d write a memoir or autobiography and I’d buy it. I’ve never read anyone elses entire life story they’re usually kinda boring, but I’d probably read all of Rihannas.
