Barbie ain’t just about little kids anymore. (Actually, as one glance at the Barbie Collector site will show you, it’s been equally about adults for a long time now.) Just in time for Halloween, Mattel has released some “spooky” Barbie dolls! “Ghost Barbie” up there is actually pretty frightening. (She looks mean, which is kind of the creepiest thing about her.) OK, Ghost Barbie is cool (and ghosts are much scarier than extraterrestrials), but Alien Barbie is awesome. While I don’t have the spot (or $100) for such an item, it’s still fun to look at. Hopefully we see even more “scary” Barbies before Halloween rolls around! [via io9]

I find looking at the collector’s series Barbies fun, too! I think these two dolls are seriously cool for adult collectors, especially for those in their 20s and 30s. They’re so detailed!
