Ever since Mean Girls, I’ve had a soft spot for Amanda Seyfried. And despite her role as Regina George’s clueless sidekick, she’s actually very intelligent and down to Earth in real life! At least, that’s what I thought before I saw her red ensemble for the recent Miu Miu show…
Don’t get me wrong: I love women in suits. I love the bold color, too. But, I don’t know, I can’t decide if it’s too much. The oversized jacket in such a strong hue is a little overpowering…but maybe that’s part of it’s charm?
The dark lips and shoes are a different story. Both are deep, gorgeous shades of purple — but their charm is lost in the shadow of that bright red suit.
So I’m torn on this latest look from Seyfried. She’s a gorgeous girl (look at that hair!), and as always, I appreciate the boldness…but I just don’t know.
Help me out, guys — hit or miss?
Oh, and here she is with my bff Emma Stone and Dianna Agron!

The lipstick is making her pale. Usually red is a good color to wear for anyone.

haha i actually really didnt like her in mean girls.
what made me loveeee her was mamma mia. She is possibly one of the most gorgeous women I’ve ever seen, and I love that suit on her too!

I hate the lipstick but it makes her look like a model. How funny is the picture with her and the other girls…clones.

The lipstick is making her look like an evil witch when she has such an amicable vibe.

Hit.

I love the jacket on its own, but as part of a suit, the ensemble is overwhelming. And with a bold outfit color, lips should’ve been downplayed, not… violet. ^^;

It looks a little 90s inspired to me… I’m a little torn. I like it and I don’t. Maybe if the blazer was tailored and cut a little shorter, then maybe it would look better… Idk. I can’t quite pick it out.

The suit is fine, the lipstick is waaaay to much, if it were red or even a light pink, it would’ve looked better.

I just thought she might look good opposite Michael J. Fox in one of those corny 80s movies. This is not to say I consider the outfit corny 80s.

She looks lovely, but that doesn’t mean this is a good outfit. She just looks great in most things.
I would’ve loved the lipstick/shoe combo with another colored suit and I’d love the suit with another lipstick/shoe combo.

I don’t like the shoes and lipsticks with the outfit. Individually, I like them, maybe paired with another outfit. The lipstick is really dark, and lovely, but red would have suited this look better.

Hit. She looks amazing in red. She’s just beautiful. Her hair color and pale complexion really stand out (which some would call “washed out”) but I think it’s striking.
